Lois does take a bit of a back seat to the Resistance and their revelations here, but hey, they're the co-stars of the book. That's acceptable. And people curious about how the Wildstorm characters are going to factor into the new DC Universe will probably find some very interesting elements here. I also like Gianluca Gugliotta's artwork very much " very dynamic, very energetic, very action-packed, even if Jekyll's transformation to Ms. Hyde is kind of Hulk-esque. All in all, this title has been very satisfactory. Read Full Review

While it's disappointing that Lois Lane still isn't a key player in her own series, Lois Lane and the Resistance #2 is an astronomical leap in quality from last issue. Grifter makes for an interesting character and the art by Gugliotta is quite striking. It should be fun to see how Abnett and Lanning wrap this one up. Read Full Review

The cover of next issue shows someone wearing the Britannia armor, presumably Black. Does that mean Penny Black will be the hero of this mini? That would seem off to me. I hope we get to see Lois shine in that issue. But I am glad that this Flashpoint world is going away soon. It is a cheerless place. Read Full Review

Lois Lane and the Resistance has a lot of potential to it but it continues to fail to capitalize on it. Having someone on the inside could be played well, both as how she handles her time with the Amazons and as a member of the resistance, but neither side gets treated well here. She herself isn't in the book all that much and is in pretty much supporting cast mode so there isn't a lot to offer. Grifter himself stands out well though and offers up a good group to work as the resistance and they'd certainly be fun to watch a bit more in action. But it's the Team 7 group that left me the most interested in seeing it explored. It's unfortunate that it works out like that because of the potential the book has, but at least there's some glimmers in here to enjoy. Read Full Review

Never really touching upon a core mission statement or plot, the Resistance becomes so uninspiring you think it'd be easier just to sit quietly and let the Amazons be self-righteous all over you. Read Full Review
