A gripping piece of serialized fiction, Deathstroke works well on its own terms without needing to bring in big guns like Batman. True to form, though, his inclusion feels like an organic extension of the story Priest is wanting to tell, never overshadowing the bigger picture. I keep liking this book more and more.  While Batman's appearance feels a bit forced, it's fun and promises even more fun in the near future.  The characters, story and art are top notch and I can start recommending this series to everyone. Read Full Review

Deathstroke #4 is a great read! It starts off pretty slow because of the “road trip” vibe, but because of the world of Slade Wilson we soon get nothing but action throughout! I'm particularly enjoying the connection that's starting to form between Wilson and his daughter especially. If you've been reading the previous issues, the relationship between Rose and Slade is slowly evolving and I enjoy that. When we look into Wilson's history and see his immense losses, especially with his own sons you can see why he hesitates to be close with Rose. Priest does a great job of explaining all of it perfectly and I have to admit that although he's a cold-hearted murderer, Deathstroke has some good fatherly moments about him too! If you've even been a fan of Deathstroke, or even remotely curious about his backstory then I definitely suggest you read this issue! Read Full Review

Very tightly executed. Great building of the father-daughter relationship. Deathstroke examines Batman, and the reader can see very well why each are such formidable foes in this universe. Meticulous writing.

Reading Deathstroke #4 is like watching one of the vacation films, only if each character were highly trained killers. This one has some pretty good action, along with more exceptional chemistry between Deathstroke and Rose.
