Sep 06, 2017The dominance of Deathstroke being one of the most well-crafted DC Rebirth continues and it's a very nice hot streak for The World's Deadliest Superhero. Read Full Review

Sep 11, 2017Deathstroke #23 is a great continuation to an already fantastic series. It builds character, maintains tension, and is paced better than most comic books. I dig the hell out of it, and I think many others will too. Pick this one up. Read Full Review

Sep 05, 2017Priest has such a great sense of these characters that Deathstroke has become one of DC's best team books. Deathstroke has really benefited from this fun and unpredictable change of status quo. Read Full Review

Sep 06, 2017The Defiance story continues and while this is not a book that new readers could comfortably jump on, those who have been around from the start will continue being happy with it. Christopher Priest is giving us a slow burn story while he sets all his pieces up on the board. The art is top notch and the only thing I can really fault here is the little amount of overall story progression. Even with that, I still love this series and like this issue. Read Full Review

Sep 08, 2017Deathstroke #23 was a good read. This book has good action, a great story and strong interactions between characters. Everyone on Defiance is there for their own purpose be it something personal or just for the greater good. Out of all of the teammates I really think Kid Flash is the only one not there for a selfish reason. Hopefully there's a shakeup to bring the team together closer. So far Defiance can save lives and they can get the job done"its just a question of getting the job done without killing each other in the process! Read Full Review

Comic Book Bin - Herv St-Louis
Sep 12, 2017This is the part of Christopher Priests stories where things get a bit murkier as he introduces more subplots with unknown characters whose presence we know we must pay attention to but without anymore clues as to why. Although there is a training session and a mission, this story is a setup one for new storylines and rather quiet. More should be expected. The theatrics of Deathstroke being maimed by a sword is just for show and to add something interesting to the story. Its a scene used to advance more ideas whose payoff, following Priests writing style will come later, Read Full Review

Sep 07, 2017That's a ton of stuff to keep track of. Priest's writing is as strong as ever, and the series is still compelling, but as the series goes on 20 pages feels less and less satisfying. Read Full Review
