Deathstroke #6 was another blood soaked issue that left me with more questions than answers.  Tony S. Daniel's art was great, but his story felt a bit off.  It felt like Daniel was hitting the reset button to give the book a fresh start in June which is odd for a book on it's sixth issue.  Odd, but maybe welcome and necessary.  I guess we'll find out in two months. The action scenes are full of energy and it's truly like watching a movie at some points. If you like your stories gory, then this issue is for you as it is chock full of blood and guts (literally). Read Full Review

Its funny that I said last month that it was the strongest issue so far and unfortunately this issue has been the opposite. It just felt a bit rushed, possibly because of the upcoming Convergence event and all the covers Daniel is doing for that, on top of trying to write and pencil Deathstroke I cant imagine how difficult and time consuming that would be. When Convergence ends and Deathstroke picks up again in June, we will see a co-writer in James Bonny join the book. Hopefully he can share the work load and let Daniel concentrate more on the pencils. Its not like Daniel is a bad writer, far from it, the first three issues of Deathstroke have gone to second printing which is no small feat. It just seems a bit of help will make the new story arc epic. And with a story arc name like Godkiller, my hopes and expectations are very high. Read Full Review
