Jul 11, 2017Overall this is a fun diversion from the main storyline of Wonder Woman that stands well on it's own without either character being wildly out-of-character. Read Full Review

Comic Book Bin - Philip Schweier
Jul 13, 2017Icant say when Ive seen wonder Woman look lovelier. As rendered by Kitson andFloyd, she has a Jennifer Connolly/Linda Rondstadt appearance I find delightful. The back-up feature, which stars a more traditional Tasmanian Devil, is achallenging rhyme of the Trojan War as seen through a Looney Tunes lens. Itfeatures cameos from other cartoon characters, with homages toward some classic(and not-so-classic) moments. Read Full Review

Black Nerd Problems - Omar Holmon
Jun 21, 2017Bedard and Kitson provide an addition to the mythology of Wonder Woman with this Labyrinth that I hope will come to be referenced over in her main series as well. We've got a solid story, character depth, and world building all in a one shot. This creative team put meticulous thought and nothing but bars into each panel in this special, and it shows. Jun 26, 2017I am in heaven with these mashups. Another super solid one shot if you are into this stuff. My question with this is the same as with my review of Lobo Road Runner Special #1: Can you keep this up without taking all the joy out of it? I think we will have our answer after the next issue.-EDIT-I now know that these ARE one-offs, not the start of a series. Original score still stands. Read Full Review

Jun 23, 2017An exceptionally fun take on both Wonder Woman and the Tasmanian Devil that brings a healthy dose of nostalgia for both while telling a great one-shot story. Read Full Review

Graphic Policy - Logan Dalton
Jun 21, 2017And since the feast in Themiscyra is in Taz's honor, the traditional Trojan War story takes a bit of a chaotic twist. However, it makes the backup story and the wholeWonder Woman/Tasmanian Devil Specialthat much endearing as Tony Bedard, Barry Kitson, and company start with the horror of Diana being hunted by Taz and end up in riotous comedy of them feasting and poking fun at the Trojan War. Jun 22, 2017Much like Lobo/Road Runner, Wonder Woman/Tasmanian Devil goes through all kinds of narrative hoops to explain how the Amazon superheroine can meet the famous Looney Tunes character. Read Full Review

Jun 21, 2017The premise of the Tasmanian Devil being in the Wonder Womanworld is sold well enough but the issue lacks overall due to a convoluted andmessy story. Read Full Review

Jun 21, 2017Overall, this issue is extremely lopsided and I think it's because these are inherently such different characters. That extreme opposite can sometimes create some interesting complications, but in this case it just ended up with a mess. The second story actually only worked because they used an outside story for the bulk of it, which was really smart. Read Full Review
