Jan 31, 2014Even though its a tie-in series with Gothtopia, Catwoman #27 failed to deliver anything special this week. The art was well-done but the story didnt really have much going for it. Although there seems to be some promise regarding Part 2: Way of the Cat, theres not much behind the issue that warrants a purchase on release date. Score: 6.5 Read Full Review

Jan 30, 2014Overall this was a pretty bad issue. I haven't read the other Gothtopia titles, but I hope they were better than this. Read Full Review

Jan 29, 2014Catwoman #27 is pretty bad with its subpar dialogue, poor structure, bad characterization, and terrible dream sequence. It's certainly not the worst issue of the series and the artwork wasn't too bad, but honestly, there is no point in buying this. If you want a decent tie-in to Gothapia, go get Batwing. Jan 31, 2014Catwoman #27 is a horribly written mess. Usually I get a laugh out of Nocenti's awful dialogue and plot lines, but this issue infuriated me. However, the art is really good, but I the phrase "shinning a turd" comes to mind. Give this issue a wide berth. The score below is strictly for art because the writing is a zero. Read Full Review
