Comic Book Revolution - Rokk Krinn

Booster Gold #9 was another excellent issue. This title continues to be one of the strongest comic books that DC is currently publishing. Johns and Katz are treating the reader to a historic run on this title. If you still have not given this title a try then I would definitely recommend doing so. I would at least encourage you to get the Booster Gold trade paperback of their run on this title. Read Full Review

As a fan of the JLI days, I also can't stress enough how rewarding it is to see Johns and Katz write this unique team dynamic. And Jurgens again delivers some of the sharpest and strongest work of his career, proving he's one of the most talented and consistent veterans working today. This is unabashed superhero fun, folks. If you like that sort of stuff, you need to get on board before Johns, Katz and Jurgens' run ends. Read Full Review

Even with the Indiana Jones model (everything working out based solely on luck instead of skill) of the first four issues seeming to faded away for a more standard superhero plot progression, I can still highly recommend Booster Gold to anyone, now more than ever. It seems fan service problems have been addressed to avoid alienating audiences, which in turn, makes for a fun, engaging comic. Read Full Review

    Major Spoilers - Joshua Hill

Booster Gold #09 gets 4 out of 5 from me, as Johns and co-writer Jeff Katz have once again delivered a fearsome story to rival anything being written at the moment. If you haven't jumped on the Booster Gold train then you better do so soon! Read Full Review

The Weekly Crisis - Kirk Warren

    May 15, 2008

Overall, I'm still disappointed with the way this book has turned out ever since Supernova was revealed to be Booster's father, but the series is showing signs of life again with this build up to the conclusion to <span style="font-weight: bold;">Johns </span>and <span style="font-weight: bold;">Katz'</span> run on the book. Shame they didn't cut the filler issues with <span style="font-weight: bold;">Green Arrow </span>and <span style="font-weight: bold;">Hawkman</span> and the numerous failed attempts at stopping Lord.
