Black Adam #6

Black Adam #6 is by far the best issue of the series so far. Priest does away with much of the pretense and convolution and simply writes an epic fight scene. As for the art… I mean, Eddy Barrows is Eddy Barrows. I don't think I need to explain the wonders of his work. The dude is a well-established artist with a well-earned reputation for quality. If you like anything mentioned in this review, (the titular character, Batman, Priest, Eddy Barrows, punch-em-ups, etc.) you will enjoy this issue. Read Full Review

Well god damn, that was fantastic. I love Rafa Sandoval, but Eddy Barrows killed this issue! Priest is the last bastion of kino capeshit at DC right now, and I am loving every second of his run so far. Was it J'onn who orchestrated that entire simulation, or was Bats playing dumb in Bruce guise?

Nobody can make a full issue of two guys hitting one another compelling, intriguing and insightful like Priest, and Sandoval is turning in some incredible work on this series

This book continues to be stellar! Teth adam is forced to really look deeply into his past with quite a surprising twist at the end. The direction they are taking this character is very intriguing and exciting to me. The phenomenal writing, artwork and depth of the story makes this book a must read in my opinion

The problem with Priest is that he has a ton of cool ideas, but he seems so intent on presenting those ideas with the worst execution possible.
