Comic Book Resources - Chad Nevett
Oct 08, 2010Not the Batman readers are used to now, it's easy to see why Neal Adams' "Batman: Odyssey" would turn off some readers. It's very hit or miss at times, especially with the plot, but the messiness of the emotions and art give the comic a powerfully compelling energy. Sometimes, it's laughable, but "Batman: Odyssey" is infinitely readable. Read Full Review

Oct 06, 2010I may seem harsh, but it's all about opinion, and while (even though I've said it numerous times) I think Neal Adams has done some stellar work, I don't think this book, overall, is worthwhile. If you're a Neal Adams fan, I'd say for sure pick this book up because it really does highlight his art, and frankly, it looks great, but the book as a hole falls incredibly flat, and feels dated.
