The action and the dialog in this issue felt really off from the get go and we get really nothing to move this story forward from what's presented here. With all of that, the art in this issue isn't really to my liking either and ultimately I find myself just being disappointed with this series. Read Full Review

Batgirl & the Birds of Prey is more of the same. If you've been enjoying the book, then you will continue to enjoy this title. If you're like me, and have been expecting more, then you'll most likely just grow more frustrated because more cracks are starting to form under the weight of the various plot threads. Ultimately, Batgirl and the Birds of Prey has parts of it I liked, but it's a bit too hard to love. I love the idea of reading about DC's most-prominent all-women team by a team of all women, but too much of it isn't landing the way it should, and that's a real shame. Read Full Review

I'm starting to considering dropping this book. This story has a Black Canary origin mixed in with Oracle story that we got in the last two issues. Black Canary doesn't get enough attention in the main story and the origin doesn't tie in to the present day at all. I like the Black Canary origin, it is very solid but this Oracle story isn't really good enough to keep me coming back.
