I love reading this title, especially now, because it doesn't hurt my brain like anything Morrison is churning out and it's not dark and depressing like most everything else I've got on the list. As always, a great read. Read Full Review

I really hate to see Lee Garbett leaving this title because he had amazing chemistry with writer Bryan Q. Miller and the two did such an impressive job of bringing the adventures of Stephanie Brown to life, but it's hard to be upset when his replacement is the alwaysimpressive Dustin Nguyen. Nguyen and Miller make an excellent team here and continue the winning ways for this insanely charming and addictive series. You know, I REALLY needed to read this comic after reading that abysmal Brightest Day #13. This comic and that one were like complete opposites to each other. Where as BD #13 sucked the big one, this comic was great! It was nice to have Oracle back in the fold again after a few issues absence, Steph's explanation of the Bat-Family to Proxy was awesomely done and the story was fast moving and fun. "Batgirl" continues to turn out entertaining issues; in an industry full of doom and gloom, "Batgirl" will brighten your day. If you're looking for a little light fun in your reading pile, you should definitely give this book a try. Read Full Review

Perhaps the most frustrating aspect of Batgirl is how clearly its intended purpose can be seen. A smart, witty book with a female lead that doesnt take itself too seriously would be a precious find amongst the comics industrys current offerings. Over a year since its debut, however, its probably time to admit that Batgirl has evolved as close to that ideal as its going to get. Read Full Review
