Weird Science - Eric Shea
Feb 04, 2015A lot of things are going on in this issue and I was surprised how little was actually about the story we've been dealing with. Yeah, it's in Arkham Manor and has to do with it's residents but this issue seems to put the whole "find the killer" plot on hold until the very end. Even though that comes off sounding like a negative, this was a really fun issue that let us explore the characters of Arkham more and gave us some insight into what will go down in other comics that deal with Gotham. Batman-News - Elena Carrillo
Jan 30, 2015There were a lot of things I felt nitpicky about with regard to this issue, but even so, when all is read and said, I enjoyed this very much. I'm anxious to get to the killer in the walls (we'll definitely get a reveal next issue, I'm guessing), but it was also fun to see Jack Shaw team-up with Mister Freeze against Clownface. And getting Batman back in costume is great too. So even though this might go down as one of Batman's more inexplicable (and convoluted ) spin-off adventures, the style and storytelling have definitely made a mark. Read Full Review

Jan 28, 2015The staff at Arkham Manor is just absurdly incompetent and Dr. Arkham is the worst offender. No wonder everyone escapes from Arkham Asylum.Sybil Silverlock is awake!Theres a callback to issue #1 and it turns out to be a nice redemptive moment for BruceHushs gag is a little jarring. Its funny but I dont know if works for a character as evil as Tommy ElliottThe biggest reveal of the issue is that Bruce grew an actual mustache to go undercover as Jack Shaw. Weekly Comic Book Review - Minhquan Nguyen
Feb 03, 2015Things are starting to spiral out of control on this series, and I don't mean just for Arkham itself. Duggan started off with a great premise (Arkham set up in Bruce's family home), delivered an interesting follow-up (Bruce enters as patient to investigate murders within), but now seems to be foundering on his next step. Last issue's Joker revelation definitely threw the story off track, but Duggan hasn't always kept a firm hand on the steering wheel to begin with. Read Full Review

I'm not sure why people don't like this series, it's a well written dark and gritty story. And, it's not the same old shit. I'm digging it, it's too bad it got cancelled.
