  Comic starts off with Superman having a fight with a Arathaza. Superman is old and on the cusp of death due to her powerful magic. Superman defeats her by getting close enough to get her staff and return her to her normal human form. Phantom Stranger narrates a good amount, filled with some really cool classic noire like drawings and panels of the Phantom Stranger. From defeating Arathaza, her Sky Palace collapses, debris including a jewel from her staff falls onto a graveyard bringing back weary evil souls as a giant whirlwind beast trying to swallow the earth. Phantom Stranger visits Superman, Clark because he like the Spectre is supernatural and knows all pretty much. Asking Superman after a tough battle to fight a giant spiritual beast to hold off and give the Phantom Stranger time to enter the realm of the dead and defeat the evil spirits attempting to self-resurrect themselves through the fallen jewel. There was some cool use of him bringing the souls who were victimized to help take down the evil ones. Really cool art I enjoyed this very much! more
