Apr 23, 2014Tomb Raider #3 is a solid read and has the best character developments and interactions so far this series presenting a better picture of who they are and a foundation going forward. The action sequences worked much better this issue with the artwork and was quite enjoyable and I'm hoping that continues to improve going forward. Despite the chase going on a little bit long the developments were very intriguing and I'm looking forward to see where this takes the adventurous heroine. Read Full Review

Apr 25, 2014Overall, while there are still a few things that I don't like about this title, it still has far more positives than negatives and I remain hopeful as ever that these are ironed out soon. Read Full Review

Apr 23, 2014I've felt a bit on the outside with this run of Tomb Raider for expected reasons with it following up events of the game I didn't play, but with the third issue I'm starting to feel a lot more comfortable with it now and a bit more invested in it. This time around it's less about the reveals of what happened on the island or why all of this is happening and more on the relationship Lara has with those from the Endurance, specifically with Reyes but that also ties Roth into it nicely. Comic Bastards - Adam Kelly
Apr 23, 2014I really enjoyed the art as usual, but what stood out to me the most were the few panels taken directly from the game where Lara is jumping from one broken half of the ship to the next while Roth has his arm stretched out in attempt to catch her. I believe this moment is captured in the trailer for the game as well so even if you haven't played it you may know what I'm talking about. The attention to detail is definitely enjoyable, but the original story is also very well-done which brings out the best of both worlds to a video game tie-in comic. Read Full Review

Apr 22, 2014Gail Simone has written some amazing comic stories, but thus far, Tomb Raider is not one of them. For the series' sake, I hope the comic either picks up or wraps up very soon. I also hope that the next Tomb Raider game is not about the Yamatai. Tomb Raider #3 is available on April 23, 2014 at retail and digital download. Read Full Review

May 03, 2014You'd be better off picking up a copy of Danger Girl or any reprint of The Further Adventures of Indiana Jones than looking for actionin this book. Disappointingly average. Read Full Review

Apr 22, 2014The plotting is uninspired, the enemies are lame and way too overpowered while making no sense within the series' continuity, and the entire comes off as tragically flaccid and with no energy. It's all just so much white noise, just bits of time occupying bits of space, none of it funny, interesting, or scary but I can't deny that there are pictures with dialogue on them, if that interests you fine, go for it, but for everyone else stay far away from Tomb Raider.
