I give The Strain extremely high marks for is use of dark storytelling in an intense action packed thriller. If the television show can tap into just a little bit of what the comic is doing, then it will be real hit. I for one, certainly hope so. Read Full Review

Geeked Out Nation - Philip Suson

Overall, this issue was a letdown. It works as filler for the overall story line, but there is nothing interesting going on in the story. Even the art is a letdown. The problem could be that they needed more pages to get the story written correctly as it is a short 22 page read. If you are a fan of the comic you do need to read this as it gives answers you will need to know to continue, but I can't recommend this to a casual reader. Take that as you will. You can purchase this comic at your local comic book store. Read Full Review
