Feb 28, 2013As befitting a second issue, there's a lot of plot development and character work going on here, but this is balanced out with plenty of action scenes, which keep the pace fast and exciting. Fun, fresh, and original " don't miss out! Read Full Review

Mar 01, 2013The story is fast-paced and oddball, the dialogue is amusing and engaging, the mysteries are plentiful and the art is kinetic and very expressive. The superhero stuff is fun, but it's secondary to the mess Devin's getting herself in with full cognizance of it's messiness. I enjoy how quick on the uptake she is, and I also dig how far out there the Answer seems to be. It isn't THAT far, really, but he just comports himself with a casual weirdness that makes us really wonder what the heck the deal is. Read Full Review

Feb 26, 2013The Answer #2 doesn't waste any time getting into the action, gives readers a bunch of new information to carry with them, and gives them a reason to come back for the next issue. If you're starting to lose hope in super hero comics, or are maybe just looking for something new and fun, give The Answer a shot! Read Full Review

Feb 26, 2013The Answer raises more questions than answers, but I's still a fun ride. Hopeless and Norton team up to give the superhero genre a bit of a twist and invent an interesting hero and a pretty capable damsel in distress who is really neither of those things. With two issues to go, hopefully we get some more answers 4/5 Read Full Review

Comic Bastards - Steve Paugh
Feb 27, 2013In fact, in a post on Comic Bastards last week, Dustin asked for marketable comic book properties outside of the "Big Two", and The Answer! definitely gets my enthusiastic vote. But that may be only because I want an exclamation point belt buckle, so I can, mid-conversation, interrupt family friends and acquaintances by saying "Get to the point," whilst thrusting my hips in their direction menacingly. Yeah. I'm a classy gal. Read Full Review

Den Of Geek! - Mike Cecchini
Mar 03, 2013Between the timeless, sleek design of the Answer's costume, to Mike Norton's clean, perfectly comic book-y art, The Answer reads like almost a pure distillation of the superhero genre. There's a little bit of Silver Age simplicity in the frenetic approach, but there are plenty of twists and turns to mark The Answer as a thoroughly modern superhero comic. Read Full Review

Mar 04, 2013"The Answer!" #2 is a fun comic; Hopeless and Norton work well together, both in the co-plotting as well as the division of labor between scripting and drawing. At this point I'm definitely on board for the remaining two issues, and am already hoping for more down the line. It's a fun, smart little superhero comic; definitely worth taking a look at for fans of the genre. Read Full Review
