Jul 28, 2017Rebels: These Free and Independent States #5 is a near perfect conclusion, with a creative team that's firing on all cylinders. This isn't the normal work you'd pick up at your local comic shop but trust me it's one that should make its way into your collection. And if you haven't been following along now's the perfect time to grab some back issues and journey back into the past. Read Full Review

Jul 26, 2017Rebels continues to be a must-read series for me as it delves into some fascinating stuff and brings it to life well, and makes me want to see out novels that explores the truth and reality of this time. Wood's scripts are minimal in a way but they convey a lot and the dialogue helps to present several fronts to soak up. Andrea Mutti was a favorite of mine on the previous series and he's once again delivering some fantastic pages, particularly those opening pieces in New York and then the beauty of Vermont when it shifts up there. Great stuff all around and definitely worth sinking your teeth into. Read Full Review
