The end was to some extent satisfying, though not without some problems in wrapping this last installment up. The Prometheus: Life and Death One-Shot dared to ask questions which others were not bold enough to ask, and it takes us into battle where we do see what happens when capable people are put into what could be impossible odds. This creative team chose substance at the end and it was the smart move when this gave Life and Death the quality it needed to break from the mold of other stories in the AvP franchise. Did the Life and Death live up to it's epic promise? Yes and no. It did have a grand scale to it, and it was awesome the way everything connected. It was much more organized and easier to follow than Fire and Stone as well. I still think it's a bit much, having all four (Prometheus, Aliens, Predator, Aliens vs Predator) involved ends up with too many moving parts with the story and characters. In the end, this was an entertaining story that was much improved over Fire and Stone. It didn't quite take some of the crazy risks, but was a more coherent product. Read Full Review

So Life and Death has come full circle, if you will, and this one-shot neatly brings the year-long event to a satisfying conclusion, whilst predictably " given the success of both this series and its predecessor " leaving the door ajar for further exploration. Whatever happens, theres been an impressive marker laid down here, and itll take some doing to match it. Read Full Review

If you've stuck with the entire Fire and Stone and Life and Death sagas, then sure, read this. If not, then it's kind of empty. Read Full Review

This Prometheus One Shot then, is just the falling action"a necessary evil"and one with no real emotional weight to speak of. That all happened last issue. Read Full Review
