Apr 10, 2016Despite the limited environment of this issue, the amount of action throughout is drawn with great skill by Staz Johnson. The sheer destruction of the monsters is showcased briefly, but well as the small battle ends. I wont spoil the end, but the unique getaway vehicle for the royal family was an artistic shock. Apr 11, 2016King's Road feels like a callback to older monsters-and-babes stories, but it never quite does enough to make the return visit worthwhile. There's strong artwork on display inKing's Road #3, but it feels wasted on underwritten heroes and generic foes. Ultimately,King's Road #3 is too mired in genre conventions to be compelling.
