DC Comics News - Tony Farina
Jun 10, 2021This is simply head and shoulders, pun intended, above the other current Kaiju books and I love those too. I think that we are seeing how horror and comedy can meet, but also how even when things are ridiculous, there can be a real, pull on your heartstrings story in there. It can't be done by just anyone. The reason Jenny Zero #2 works here is because this team cares about the story they are telling, but mostly, they care about Jenny. I do too. Read Full Review

Jun 03, 2021Jenny Zero continues to be a pretty fun book with a lot of weird things going on that I'm curious to see explored out a bit more. I can see the larger path that things are likely to take with it but what we get here is welcome as it explores the characters and their pasts and motivations in a way that felt as natural as it could with the way it moves back and forth. The artwork is definitely appealing with the character designs as well as there's a great kind of energy to it. I'm definitely curious to see what it really wants to be by the end but we're again off to a really good start. Read Full Review
