  The artwork remains a consistent bonus throughout the issue, as Isaacs brings Gage and Brendons narrative to visual signification with the help of Jacksons palette of strong colours. There are many things to love and praise about the interior art of Issue #3. Its emotive, dynamic, and thoroughly engaging, from the busy action panels to the quiet introspective moments. The spot-on character design for Dracula, the action at the ruins of the Sutro Baths, as well as Buffy and Willows kidnapping quest through the streets of San Francisco, are just a few personal highlights. Isaacs and Jacksons individual contributions and styles of art complement each others impressive work, and they along with Brendon seem to be a perfect match for Gages Buffy Season 10.   This issue of Buffy The Vampire Slayer not only reminds us of the entertainment value that it carries, but it also reminds us that things can easily take a turn for the worst when you let your guard down. We had our comedic interactions between Dawn, Xander and Dracula, but then we also had something more genuine from Buffy and Willow as they tracked down one of those new vampires as a study specimen. Such that you can only get from Buffy and there's no questioning what more you can get out of it as a fan and reader. Read Full Review

  There was a lot of good things going on here character-wise with Buffy and Willow as they went on their vampire hunt during the day. Despite being humans, they're really creatures of the night since they've been hunting them for so long. There's also some weird tension going on between Xander and Dawn, which lead to him being fully mind controlled again. All said, what's about to go down is going to be very, very bad.
