With lots of casualties on both sides, the battle with the vampires is over. Now Broom has to enlist an old friend in a bizarre exorcism to save the soul of one of the soldiers. But the exorcist himself isn't happy about the little demon Broom has adopted and has a lesson to teach Broom about battling the forces of darkness.

    While BPRD 1947 #5 isn't the slam-bang "killer conclusion" I hoped for after reading #4, it doesn't really need to be. I'd have liked to have seen what happens to loose threads like Anders, but maybe the open-ended denouement means that we can anticipate a BPRD 1948. Read Full Review
