Jun 05, 2019There is a lot to unpack from this short story, both in how it examines relationships between human beings and their companions, as well as how it bodes for where Beasts of Burden goes next. This series has always been great, and yet it is somehow still getting better. Read Full Review

Jun 21, 2019This is a masterpiece of morality and horror. Even a reader missed the first issue (and shame on you if you have!) would be swept away by this book. I was constantly wowed as I read from the shocks in the story and the chilling visuals. This is the book you give readers to make them fans of this series. Highest possible recommendation. Jun 15, 2019Every time a new Beasts of Burden comes out, I'm reminded of how great this comic is and how I desperately want more. Writer Evan Dorkin crafts a well-paced, frightening tale starring animals that are more human than most people. The Presence of Others is a great read that feels like the beginning of something more. I certainly hope that's the case. Read Full Review

Jun 06, 2019This is not what Id call an ideal jumping on point but it should be close enough to the beginning of the arc for you to grab the previous issue without any problem. And you should most certainly jump on this. Ive read two issues now (I read through the first issue of this run halfway through writing this review), and I am hopelessly and irrevocably addicted. If youve been a fan of Beasts of Burden for a while I think youre going to love this. If, like me, youre new to the series then please, please pick it up! This is a great series and I will most definitely be picking up the first three volumes on pay day and bingeing the whole lot in one sitting! Read Full Review
