    Even though I was disappointed that this was just a collection of chapters from DHCP, I couldn’t help but get sucked into them again. To point where I read the issue twice just out of sheer enjoyment and then remembered that I had to write a review. So often as a reviewer we get stuck reading so many books that at times a comic is more work than leisure; the fact that this book made me forget that it was work just tells me that reprint or not… it’s something very special.     Here's hoping that Beasts of Burden can get its on ongoing series, as it would certainly be a refreshing change from capes, and a much more palatable form for dark stories to take than we usually get in comics. Read Full Review

    There's a lot to like in this one-shot, but I know it isn't for everyone. However, Beasts of Burden: Neighborhood Watch's greatest concern is telling some good stories that, while perhaps focused on younger readers, can be enjoyed by people of all ages.
