Baltimore: The Witch of Harju #3

Nevertheless, Baltimore defies convention with the character's setting and broad menagerie of menacing occult foes. I wonder why no one has optioned this to be a film. With mediocre hits like Hansel and Gretel, a Baltimore script would be smart and visual beyond measure and only add to the genre. If you don't believe me, check the final panel of the comic where the heroes walk line abreast towards the reader and get those cool chills that come from being pumped up with adrenaline. I'm sold on Peter Bergting. Sure he's new to the series, but this issue makes it absolutely clear he's got a real feel for this world. This wasn't just a good issue, it was the right ending, strengthening the previous issues, and I finished it wanting to read more. Next month is "The Wolf and the Apostle," Ben Stenbeck's last Baltimore miniseries. I'll be sorry to see him go, but I know Baltimore is in good hands now, and I can't help being eager to see what Christopher Golden and Peter Bergting cook up for us next. Read Full Review

Great finale to this 3 part arc! i highly recommend ANY Baltimore arcs. They stand alone on their own pretty well, and are NOT connected to the Mignola/Hellboy universe (although they SHOULD be! lol).
