Aug 26, 2025This book has a lot of twists and turns and just when you think you have It figured out, the story swerves you again. Matthew Arnold does a great job of creating this world and the mythology that surrounds it. The layers of the story are also great, as you unravel one thread another reveals itself. One of the twists is obvious and easy to call, which kind of diminishes its impact on the story. Well, the other twist is a little too convoluted which can be slightly confusing for some readers.
