  The Standard is a basic and generic 60"s superhero, complete with sidekick Fabu-Lad. Fabu-Lad is Alex Thomas partner to the Standard and ultimately the replacement Standard when Standard retires. Alex is not half the man that Gilbert was, but has the time for heroes passed or is it time for the original Standard to return. The Standard #1 has an interesting beginning and left me wanting to read more to see if the Standard could deliver something truly original. Read Full Review
