While describing this book I may be using a lot of references to the DC universe but this really cannot be helped nor should it turn you off to the book. The creators themselves start off a text piece in the rear of the book by stating, "I'm never gonna get to kill the Justice League" and what this story is at its core is an independent publication of the ultimate Justice League mystery story and one that will appeal to fans of the DC heroes as well as readers of edgier independent fare. In Christie, there's a murderer among the ten. I'm pretty sure the same is true in The Red Ten, and that the first issue has sent some pretty clear signals about who it is.
