Comics Bulletin - Paul Dale Roberts
May 19, 2003When the channeller uses this move, he or she is weak for a few seconds. Those seconds are critical and if they are attacked, they could lose their life in the process. Kirk Abrigo also does the artwork in this incredible comic book and the Sakura Castle setting was wonderfully done. I love the way the drama is set forth as Shogun Tomada-Sama talks with Zato-Sama. Zato tells how he could not find any evidence to indicate that Miamoto Shindo is a traitor. I felt like I was eavesdropping on these two and then sitting back as the story unfolds in front of me. Excellent storytelling! If you want to see some magic in the form of a 'dragon flame', or possibly a Noh assassin, then this is the comic book for you. If you were to take Samurai Guard and place it on the silver screen, the action you would see would equal to the action displayed in Matrix: Reloaded! Read Full Review
