After Lawrence Miller's teenage son's tragic death from an overdose, he cannot shake the sense that his son's soul is lost and wandering between heaven and earth. Sirens of Sequentials - CJ Pendragon
Oct 31, 2018All in all, I enjoyed The Shepherd and would highly recommend it to anyone who likes supernatural comics or ones that explore death and the afterlife. Jun 22, 2016I attempt to grade comics much like a school teacher might grade homework. This isn't a bad book, but it fails to shine in ways that it easily could have. It's average, a “C” work. It's good for a read, especially if you like the somewhat religious themes, or are interested in alternate afterlife theories, but I doubt it's going to make any one's favorites list. I wish it had been a bit more polished, and the story had had a bit more weight to it, because with just a little work, it could have been a lot better. Read Full Review
