Plague Doctor #10

During Lera's very first appearance as the new Plague Doctor during the grand opening of the Golden Dragon casino, armed men dressed up as the Citizen's followers shoot up the crowd along with the casino's owner, Vitaliy Plahov. Unsurprisingly, Plague Doctor gets all the blame for the massacre. Razumovsky swears his innocence to Lera and points her to the city's governor, Nikolay Kammeny. Together with Sergey's mercenaries, Plague Doctor breaks into the governor's office and he gives them the name of one Bataar Dagbayev... In reality, the one standing behind the attack is the mysterious Altan, whose mother was killed in Razumovsky's terrorist attack on Vosstaniya Square back in the day. Lera leaves without noticing a tracking bug on the Plague Doctor's costume. Altan's mercenary by the name of Vadim, together with his men, breaks into Volkov's apartment and kidnaps him, hoping to bait Razumovsky. In order to save Oleg, Lera, dressed as Plague Doctor, and Sergey willingly go into the obvious trap and face newly armored Altan face to face. As a result of the following fight, Sergey manages to get Oleg out, while Lera beats Altan fair and square. Vadim, however, drops her down from a dangerous height, which puts Lera on a verge of death... more
