Hopefully the team can wrap it up in a package that makes Rowans Ruin more than just the sum of its parts, but I remain dubious that this will become anything other than decent-looking shelf gristle. While it might not be wholly original (what is?) the execution is a dream. I like the characters and the mystery. Perkins art is expressive and eerie.
