It would not be fair to finish this review without also going deeper into the beautiful artwork in this series. The characters are drawn in an extremely charming style, while the attention to detail in the backgrounds is incredible. It is easy to be so focused on a certain point in a panel that you do not realise the rest of the setting around them. I will be honest in that I was about to give up on Red Mother. There were a few issues where we focused almost entirely on Daisy's life about town, ignoring the strange entity that has been haunting her. Now, those two sides have collided together in a horrifying clash. This issue builds to a jaw-dropping climax.
