Green Lantern Corps - iggy
Mar 08, 2017This issue was a struggle to finish for me, I have no attachment to what is happening on the Ape's planet making it seem like a pit stop for Hal Jordan before he can get back to the DCU. I have no stakes as to what's going on yet. It feels to me that Thompson wants to make it a slow burn, but given that this is only a six issue mini series I'm not sure that the slow burn approach is the right way to tell this story. The final page however hooked me enough to want to see how the next four issues will play out. Read Full Review

It's really quite a shame that a crossover with some of best conceived cover designs can't manage to make what's between the covers live up to the potential of what's on the front cover.
