Hexed #7

Ah man is it good, but with every issue of Hexed I'm always looking forward to the next issue more. If you haven't been reading Hexed then don't start here, but do start. My goodness while other companies are rebooting entire aspects of their publishing line here's this very serious, heart-felt, well-written series that stars only female leads. Female leads that aren't cookie cutter versions of each other. Praise those superhero books for finally catching up, but how about some acknowledgment for the series that did it right from the beginning? Read Full Review

I strongly urge you to pick up Hexed #7, even if you haven't read any of the previous issues. This issue rehashes what's happened in previously, so you're not likely to get too lost. Plus, the wonder team that is Cassata, Mora and Nelson have created a literary and visual masterpiece. This issue's got a cliffhanger that will leave you cursing Nelson and BOOM! Studios for the entirety of the next month. It's the best and the worst cliff hanger I've read, and when I say I can't wait to see what happens in the next issue, I've never meant it more. Hexed has easily become one of my favorite titles. Lucifer is a strong female lead that rivals the likes of Buffy and Wonder Woman. She's that good. The comic is packed with a rich and seemingly never-ending mythology that only serves to amplify the possibilities for future stories. Read Full Review
