Major Spoilers - Stephen Schleicher
Jan 29, 2009When a company takes a gamble and adapts a television series to comic book form, it could turn out really really bad. I know there will be a morbid curiosity to see if this book fails, but after reading the first issue, it is apparent Eureka the comic book series is doing things in the same spirit as the television show. Fans of the television series are going to enjoy the comic book, and because of this, Eureka #1 earns 4 out of 5 Stars. Read Full Review

Eye On Comics - Don MacPherson
Jan 31, 2009Hay's script offers those new to the Eureka concept just enough information to follow the story, but at the same time, it isn't mired in a lot of exposition. The story and script stay true to the show; the concepts make the transition from one medium to another radically different one surprisingly well. I just wonder if the cost of comics will be a barrier to the TV show's audience. With any luck, there will be some cross-promotional efforts to transform at least a few thousand viewers into a few thousand readers. Read Full Review
