Time and timing is an often overlooked component of many aspects of our lives. Take for example this issue, this series featuring Willow by Boom Studios. For it's part this comic delivers an opportunity for a critical piece of the Scoobies to come to the forefront. Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Willow #5 brings this mini-series to an end. It has been pretty satisfying, but due to the pandemic, it has been told out of order. Willow has already returned in the main continuity and that lowers the stakes of this book. Tamaki is a great writer and if Jordie ever were to leave the main series (which I hope she never does), Tamaki would be a great fit. If you missed this one, definitely pick up the trade next month. Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Willow has just been so, so good that the strength of the first four issues left me with no doubt that Tamaki would follow through with a terrific ending. That didn't end up being the case, but this is still, by far, the best Buffy title coming from BOOM! Studios. Read Full Review

This whole miniseries was kind of a waste, in my opinion. The pacing is terrible, there's never a real sense of conflict and it just felt pointless. I wouldn't recommend this.
