    Horror DNA - James Ferguson

Bone Parish has already established itself as a creepy supernatural comic. What sets it apart is how well developed the characters are and how invested we are in their lives. This is a low key chapter that's packed with a sense of foreboding. The Winters have already been through so much and their lives are not going to get any easier any time soon. Read Full Review

Crime noir stories are prevalent in comics and other media making it difficult to distinguish stories from each other. Cullen Bunn develops a uniqueness to his story by including elements of fantasy and horror in this tale involving a family-run criminal organization. I highly recommend this book to fans of Cullen Bunn and crime-noir stories. Read Full Review

While the issue might not be the best place to start, there's also a trade released this week covering the first four issues, it is a place you can start. It's a great comic focusing more on the jockeying of the mob members more than anything and that unto itself is entertaining. This is a transition issue reflecting on the past and setting up the future. It's all about the mood and setting and delivers a solid read that entertains. Read Full Review

Yes its dark. It's even darker and darker with each issue. I will not hide that I hoped the issue with the other gang ended after the last issue. But no ... That even promise worse. I was very teased by the new figure who appear in the wedding and with the new way this stories goes. At first I put it in Fantastic Thriller. Maybe SF anticipation. But the end put more fantastic in the story. I also like all the mystery about the mysterious boss (Maybe the one who lead the New york branch). Cover - Very nice, I really love it. But not link to the reading. 1/2 Writing - Still very surprising & very strong. Each time I read it I have to check it was not a Image title, but a Boom Studio one ! 3/3 Arts - Not perfect but close enough. Yes, th more
