Aug 28, 2018I feel like Bunn has gone above and beyond in this title. The creativy it takes to write something like this is or even think of the idea of the story is just insane. I'm not totally sure where it's going. It's seriously an awesome read. Read Full Review

Horror DNA - James Ferguson
Sep 01, 2018Bone Parish is like a paranormal version of The Wire. Instead of Stringer Bell and Avon Barksdale, we've got the Winters family, struggling to keep up with an ever-increasing demand while rival gangs start to hone in on their turf and the feds are circling like vultures. Writer Cullen Bunn is delivering a solid crime story that is amplified by the chilling horror angle. Read Full Review

Sep 26, 2018As this story develops I am inclined to believe that this is definitely going to be a slow-burn experience, it is a story which will develop and unravel slowly over time. So if you are looking for a comic that is full of plot twists and action this may not be for you. But if you are looking for something slower and gripping I would highly recommend it. Sep 03, 2018"Bone Parish" delves into family histories and crime complexities, and a second issue is the right time for it. This book is promising, but what unspools next will be critical to set it apart from the pack. Read Full Review

Bleeding Cool - Joshua Davison
Aug 31, 2018Bone Parish #2 is still just too boring. There are improvements over the first issue with this one, but the plot burns very slowly, doesnt have a change in tone or atmosphere to break up the dreariness, and the color work is similarly stuck on the one note. Unfortunately, I cant recommend this book. Read Full Review
