Comic Bastards - Dustin Cabeal
Jun 07, 2013I’m really looking forward to the next issue because I was blown away by this first issue. It’s an incredible and refreshing read. I enjoyed it so much that I might actually pick up the book series as well. How this franchise has flown under the radar is beyond me, but I’m glad it found a home at Blind Ferret Entertainment. For only a dollar you can own this book digitally so check it out and remember, “There is no up or down in Virga, unless someone has created it.” Read Full Review

Jun 18, 2013But the epic scope doesn't just apply to the story, the art provides massive breadth making Guy Allen's art shine. The setting has some pretty heavy art-deco-meets-steampunk influences and it looks great. Long shots depicting aerial battles, artificial suns, and giant asteroids with satellites stand alongside closer-framed shots with solid character work to great effect. The attention to detail is spectacular and shows how much a labor of love this book is. The icing on the cake is the addition of 7 pages of concept art and cover breakdowns that are great to look at. If you have a dollar, you owe it to yourself to buy this book. Read Full Review

Stash My Comics - Leo Johnson
Jun 06, 2013This is a great comic to jump into. Fans of the book will like it, fans of sci-fi will like, and just readers in general will probably like it. It's a solid story, and it's just 99 cents on Comixology. Read Full Review

AIPT - David Brooke
Jun 05, 2013Unfortunately I'm not sold on the protagonist just yet, even if the supporting cast is pretty interesting. That said, Virga's ambition reaches farther than most $3.99 comics, so its value is unquestionable as a $.99 comic. Here's to looking forward to the following issues! Read Full Review
