This issue definitely wowed me, and after a lukewarm review of the first one, I'm ready to dive into the rest of Transference with eager eyes. If only I could go back in time and re-score that last review… Read Full Review

Transference #2 may not be quite as captivating as the series' opening issue, but that doesn't stop it from remaining a must have. Between the intriguing developments and engaging character interaction, this second issue gives great depth to the series, with yet more mysteries waiting to be solved. Read Full Review

You should probably go and pick this series up " it is in its early stages right now, and it is already a compelling and interesting time travel story. There isn't any heavy info-dumps to explain the science of things, and it delivers on the promised premise in a very self-aware way. If you like thrillers of just about any kind, or are just a fan of time travel, this series is probably for you. Read Full Review

Salas' artwork lacks detail and can be quite confusing during the end of the issue, but it serves the comic's sci-fi genre well. Read Full Review

Don't get me wrong folks, this is still a strong offering from Black Mask Studios, and as soon as I can wrap my little head around the premise, I have no doubt that my enjoyment of it will skyrocket. Plus, given Moreci's track record, this year in particular (#YearofMoreci, yo), my confidence is incredibly high that everything will sort itself out sooner rather than later, and that the key strengths of this series – the main character, the visuals and the dialogue – will be allowed to shine like they truly deserve to.
