Mann's World #1 has a boatload of potential and is off to an interesting start. Victor Gischler and Niko Walter have a great dynamic together. The unpredictability of what happens next is enticing, and the book as a whole is a fun read. Read Full Review

Mann's World #1 is a good start that has me want to read more. There's a lot of potential and I want to see where it all goes. Hopefully, the comic doesn't just devolve into a story we've seen so many times before. There's a lot of space to really discuss the ideas and concepts set up in the debut and I'm hoping the comic embraces its worthy discussion instead of just leaning into the action. Read Full Review

Looking for a taste of real life, the four wander off resort and find themselves involved in trading fists with the locals. Unbeknownst to the group, the locals aim to make an example of the tourists and sabotage their vessel as the friends head out on a wildlife hunting expedition. I think this cover art is so cool. It was my w hole reason for buying the book in the first place. The concept of the resort reminds me a bit of Westworld. So far I haven’t developed an interest in any of the characters, but it’s only issue one so I’ll stick around and see where this goes. In this sci-fi book, four buddies take an adventure vacation to a resort on a wild planet. They run afoul of the locals and lost control of their craft a few hundred miles away from home base. They're left to their own skills to get back but have to contend with po'd locals, wild creatures and unforgiving terrain/climate. Story is ok, art is never better than "could be better" and occasionally drifts into distractingly bad.
