Newsarama - Justin Partridge, III
Mar 06, 2014With just two issues into his run, Mike Costa has set himself and his story arc well apart from the original six issue series that he co-wrote with Jonathan Hickman. Instead of focusing on the divine like Hickman did, Costa has given us a small scale story focusing on the humans surrounding the gods and the toll it takes being in their service and under their subjugation. Actually, this is decently good! I enjoyed seeing how people react to the gods- I just wish I could have seen it when the gods first appeared.
