Chuck's Comic Of The Day - Chuck

    Jun 17, 2013

So it's just getting started, and we still have some business to sort out (is the team a bunch of good guys, are they mercenaries - or both?), but it's a promising start and well worth checking out. Read Full Review

    Major Spoilers - Chris Wilson

BubbleGun came out of nowhere and smacked me in the face with its unique flare. Mark Roslan has created a fun sci-fi world filled with cool characters and a comic different from many others on the racks. Mike Bowden's work only helps add to the flavor presenting designs that fit what Roslan has created. Fans of sci-fi, cyberpunk especially, owe it to themselves to buy this comic. At only a dollar, there is no reason not to give this book a chance. Read Full Review

    Geekality - Worm VonChaos

Here is a new series from our friends over at Aspen. The story begins with a group of tech hackers pulling off a heist while an opposing team is after the same object. Afterwards while the team celebrates, they are made an offer by a big time player in the city. The story itself was solid but I couldnt get into it. It has too much of an anime feel and that never wins me over. The art style is sharp with intense backgrounds and the colors are uniquely bright and in your face. This is another one of those books that if I read it like 15 years ago I would have enjoyed the hell out of it but today its kind of meh. Im not here to tear it a part but its just not for me. If you are a fan of Empowered or anime in general you should enjoy this title. Read Full Review

BubbleGun is a series that wears its influences on its sleeve to a certain degree. But I have hope that the book will eventually carve its own path, and there's enough entertainment value in this first issue to suggest that BubbleGun will be worth a shot even at full price. Read Full Review

    Geeks Unleashed - Chris Romero

    Jun 14, 2013

Artists Mike Bowden and David Curiel illustrate the heck out of this book, with plenty of detailed imagery coupled with more fluorescent colors than a Cirque du Soleil show. BubbleGun is off to a solid start, so check it out. Read Full Review
