Jun 08, 2022I really enjoyed the original series and I saw a lot of potential in carrying that storyline forward but it went so much further down the line to pick things up that it is basically a completely different work. And while it does drop us into the middle of things and there is fun in trying to figure it out, sometimes you're dropped into the middle of a thing and there's just no way to decipher it. Or it just doesn't make sense to some people, like me with this. I really love the visuals and the base concept behind it but I'm so absolutely lost when it comes to the story and cast that it's a not-fun experience, which makes it a very rare AfterShock Comics series that I drop.
