Sean Bennett is just your everyday, ordinary lab worker in a high-tech lab with a proto-type time machine. And, yeah, he's got the same temptations any of us would have about going back in time, just a bit, to correct mistakes of the past and right old wrongs. So, when he meets a version of himself from the future who encourages him to do just that, Sean takes the temporal plunge. Only...can you guess what happens next? Did you read the book title? Yup. All of TIME is f#%&ed up now, and it's up to Sean to cor-rect it-or else!

Presenting a time-twisted sci-fi action-comedy, a butterfly effect noir, by multiple Eis-ner-winning writer more

The debut issue of this series does its job remarkably well and that is to get readers excited for the next issue. Layman and Mostert set the stage for some bigger thrills and more action to come and do so with some seriously fun characters. The book looks great, its paced like a speeding Amtrak and pulls you in like a magnetic field, what more could you ask for in a comic book? Read Full Review

A great first issue which pulls us deep into the mystery, it’s great fun, and the end of the issue brings home the stakes at play for our main character. Good art throughout helps to bring home how absurd and insane this issue is and keeps it entertaining. This is a series I look forward to following. Read Full Review

As an opening installment, this is a pretty fun book. It plays fast and loose with the science to be sure and just goes with the silliness of it all " and the usual lack of security around such a device. Read Full Review

Layman gives us the tip of the iceberg here with the first issue- we meet Sean, we get the premise, and we see how time goes completely bonkers. The story doesnt go too deep here, but I bet once we get the next few issues, we will get sucked into it. Mosterts artwork is crisp and clean, and his designs here look fantastic. My only gripe with the book is that it takes too much time to set everything up and not enough time for us to enjoy the madness caused by Seans choices. This is an excellent start to this brand new series, and I look forward to seeing how The Man Who Effed Up Time can really push the time-traveling envelope in the issues to come. Read Full Review

    Multiversity Comics - Jonathan O'Neal

"The Man Who Effed Up Time" is a boilerplate albeit expertly presented time travel story on the surface, but if we know Layman, he's got some other tricks up his sleeve for future installments. A relatively new artistic talent along with Layman's past credentials and well-deserved successes should make this a draw. Read Full Review

An uninspiring use of an over used plot make this a comic that tries hard but fall short. There are elements of the comic that are impressive but not enough for most people to commit to a purchase. Read Full Review
