In this issue we meet Number Three, a hippy, stoner, dropout of the highest (or lowest) order whose laziness drives Trevor absolutely insane. We also continue our pentacontagon love affair), the Scarlet are still a pain, Veet-Bot shows his fighting capabilities, a witness actually survives protective custody, and Vorgas gets stoned!

Feb 02, 2016Issue three of Replica shows early signs of maturity in the story. Excellent development of the clones and the workings of Trevor and his team build interest and investment from the reader. This, coupled with extra layers to the puzzle of the ambassadors assassination, only augments the development of Trevors bizarre world and situation. Incredibly, all this evolution takes place without sacrificing the humour that makes Replica so special in the first place. This is shaping into an excellent series, well worth adding to your pull list. Read Full Review

Comic Crusaders - Johnny Hughes
Feb 03, 2016Replicas is a complex setup, ran through a straight up detective story, the smoke and mirrors in this instance being the clone factor. The ongoing story is such that this isn't a good jumping on point for new readers, maybe proving the need for a catch up paragraph. However, the series is three issues deep so you should be able to pick up the previous issues easily enough for your LCS or online provider, which would make this issue that much more enjoyable. Feb 03, 2016The world-building on 'Replica' #3 is eye-popping and the narrative growth from issue one to now is taking shape nicely as the mystery begins to unfold. Jenkins' Trevor Churchill is a great comic book character but his clones also get some development. AfterShock Comics has another winner on its hands and the fact that after three issues 'Replica' is still compelling and funny proves it. Read Full Review
