Lynn and William Blake confront the anxiety-ridden mad judge of hell, Franz Kafka. Lynn descends further down the fiery depths into the circle of gluttony, where Cerber-us awaits with a hunger of his own. Plus, a guest appearance by the world's most be-loved author of suspense and mystery!
From the writers of the break-out hit The Dregs and Marvel's Cable, and the artist of Roche Limit, this is HELL like you've never seen before.

It's impossible to look away at where Lynn is going. The characters are horrific, familiar, and illustrated disturbingly. Though I will admit to being very worried in what states Lynn will find her family. This trip through Hell is definitely worth taking. Read Full Review

In short, Her Infernal Descent is damn clever, not only in its ability to play Connect the Literary Dots, but in its use of these semiotic tricks to build compelling characters. Read Full Review

The second installment of this new AfterShock title still has me both hopeful and engaged. Both Her Infernal Descent #1 and #2 are what I expected while showing nuance and creativity in ways I couldnt have predicted. The characters and premise continue to fascinate, and I look forward to where the series goes from here. This one earns another recommendation. Give it a read. Read Full Review

While not exactly quite as strong as the first issue as I really enjoyed those opening pages with our leading lady, this installment takes us through two more layers of hell as she searches for her family. The writing is strong with creative use of Blake's works to deal with problems along the way, including Kafka of all people. Read Full Review

Her Infernal Descent has a lot going for it, and while some of the creative liberties taken to produce this modern retelling of Dante's Inferno work well, some miss the mark. Regardless, my time spent in this version of Hell has been enjoyable and Her Infernal Descent promise to continue to excite and intrigue. Read Full Review

Lonnie Nadler and Zac Thompson have established a wild netherworld for Lynn to travel through. It's steeped with literary figures that inject some classic quotes and add some more strangeness. The only thing I would like to see is some flashbacks to the family she so desperately seeks. Otherwise, 'Her Infernal Descent' is a unique comic book experience that becomes more intriguing with every issue. Read Full Review

Her Infernal Descent #2 is by no means a action packed fight through hell, but a journey through hell. That's the mistake people expect in this book. This book wonderfully dives you into obvious religious virtues while reflecting on social issues... And theirs alot of rhyming so that's always fun. HID isnan intriguing adventure and adds a psychological twist on heaven and hell. In conclusion, issue three couldn't come sooner.
