The sign of a great thriller is that it keeps you guessing, keeps you at the edge of your seat, and keeps you wanting more. David, Gavin, and Liz have accomplished all of these things. Within the first few pages of Going to the Chapel #3, I was not just smiling in enjoyment but laughing out loud. The comic is pure craziness and fun from start to finish. Just when you can't think Pepose can top himself, he does exactly that. The series keeps getting better with every issue and promises to deliver a bang of a finale. Read Full Review

'Going to the Chapel' #3 hits a speed bump but keeps on going. It's still a crazy heist job gone wrong with laughs aplenty. It's the characterization of some characters that fall short while others take an unexpected, unwelcomed turn. Gotta say it looks like things are getting a little clearer. This is slowly becoming like a Tarantino movie in just one setting. The gags are great as always with an 'episode-of-the-week' style. But the overall story just comes along nicely. There's a bigger meaning with all of this; the sacrifices people make for love are crazy if not outright heartbreaking. As for Emily herself, I think it's safe to say that she's finally coming out of her shell. In fact, all preconceptions about these characters are crumbling down here. Jesse certainly wants to be the best man he can be for Emily; but he's just not what Emily needs. The revelation at the end of it all is just heartbreaking. Heck, Tom's pretty decent himself, especially on the nature of h is and Emily's breakup. Gotta love the rest of Emily's family too, especially Harriet. Regardless of how this ends, it looks like someone's getting what they really need out of it. Maybe not a boyfriend but finally finding that thing that makes them tick. I know Harriet's gonna be proud of her granddaughter. more
