The artwork in this story does an amazing job of bringing out the heart of the piece too. It's simplistic and cartoony"but if you think about it with the life whose story they are telling the art fits the piece. It has a warmth to it which brings a smile to your face during the bright times of his life and a darkness during the sad parts. If you're not shedding a tear on the last page you may not have a soul.

This is a comic that will have you begging for more. It's a beautiful setup for a world that I hope Jon Parrish and Diego Toro dive into again because I want to know more about these characters.

If you find stuff funny that would make an old lady call a priest to start an exorcism, Holy F*cked is the comic for you. Don't let the humor throw you off though. While the story is admittedly not for everyone, it actually celebrates the characters they go out of their way to make so silly. You would do well by checking it out.

Overall this is not a bad series. While it doesn't meet the expectations that Matt Wagner and Quentin Tarantino set from their original material, Quentin with Django Unchained and Matt with the Zorro stand-alone comic, it is a solid story from start to finish. There are some moments that will make you shake your head, but at the end of the day, when Django and Zorro save the day, you will find yourself happy at the resolution. If you get a chance to purchase this trade paperback, it will be well worth your money.
